The Popowski Flip

If you have nothing else to do on Sunday (hey, even if you do) - practice THIS!

Someday ...

... there is going to be a forecast which, days in advance, is going to be calling for a Sunday to be clear and dry and temperate - and it's actually going to be clear and dry and temperate. But it's not today.

Vegas, Anyone?

Even though the forecasts had this one going either way, we should have known and bet on it: steady rain in Framingham. No nuthin' today.

Rain

If it rains on a Tuesday, this week's field would still be wet on Sunday. Yesterday's deluge washed away any hope of playing today.

Submitted for your consideration: Ringo said that his drumming on "Rain" was his best work.

June, Allegedly

3am in Framingham and it’s barely 40 degrees. Whether it rains more or not, the grass will never dry and it will remain in the 40s, making it a ball-soaking, bat-busting, hand-stinging, numbers-depressing kinda morn.

Today, go do that thing which you've needed time to do, freeing up next Sunday to Play Ball!

Maybe Someday ....

The odds are good that there will be a dry Sunday in 2023. But it's not this week! Stay in your PJs, have a nice breakfast, get a jump on some long-overlooked project and we'll (hopefully) play ball next week!

Rising Again Next Week

With the quick timing of pulling it together, the forecast of 40 degrees, players going on Easter egg hunts, and the lack of the near-ready permit, we will next get on the field next week!

Fall-ing Down

Weather cancellation: it's currently 50 degrees at the field and strong wind gusts bring the wind chill temps down into the 40's. Not exactly baseball weather.

Spend today finding the long-johns and checking the woodpile and we'll try it again next week!
