Ophelia
Another named tropical depression. This one is also one of those fun / sad songs by The Band, below.
Daylight reveals a wet world. We may be in a lull between downpours but last night's rain depressed our numbers and grass that will not dry before noon - if at all - finishes us off. Enjoy the song and next week, play ball!

Someday ...
... there is going to be a forecast which, days in advance, is going to be calling for a Sunday to be clear and dry and temperate - and it's actually going to be clear and dry and temperate. But it's not today.

Vegas, Anyone?
Even though the forecasts had this one going either way, we should have known and bet on it: steady rain in Framingham. No nuthin' today.

Rain
If it rains on a Tuesday, this week's field would still be wet on Sunday. Yesterday's deluge washed away any hope of playing today.
Submitted for your consideration: Ringo said that his drumming on "Rain" was his best work.

June, Allegedly
3am in Framingham and it’s barely 40 degrees. Whether it rains more or not, the grass will never dry and it will remain in the 40s, making it a ball-soaking, bat-busting, hand-stinging, numbers-depressing kinda morn.
Today, go do that thing which you've needed time to do, freeing up next Sunday to Play Ball!
