Mother Nature scored in the top of the 9th, but we’re coming up for our last at-bat. The week looks dry and this Sunday should be in the mid-to-upper 50’s. One last time, let’s play ball before trading the gloves and cleats for mittens and boots. And perhaps, as Pete suggested, we’ll hit a bar afterward, for some wings and bragging and story-telling.
Count on a game.To gauge interest and to get an accurate count so that we do indeed have a game, I’m going to, through the week, try to call some of the more likely attendees. I’ve called three Luddites, likely to not check here, and all three are coming (Charlie, Mike, Jason.) I've begun, in random order (the order of opt-in from spring) to call guys and the first 10 are locked in already (Me, Charlie, Mike, Jason T., Jared, Howard, Jeff K., Zach, plus two mystery voters.)
